The CP05 has natural advantage of light weight structure and fitness for mass production in assembly lines, when compared to other UAVs with conventional layout. Due to its unique twin power distribution design and highly efficient EDF power, the CP05 is able to deliver very quiet sound. The oversized equipment compartment allows for large payload and the payload weight ratio can reach more than 30%. There are two takeoff modes available to choose based on the actual takeoff weight, by hand launch or by the ejector rack. The CP05 can also taxi to take off with auxiliary device when there is a paved surface for takeoff and landing
